Our mission is the optimal treatment of patients with stroke and other neurological disorders – every day, around the clock and by all members of the team. This requires clear treatment algorithms, a reasonable distribution of the workload and an efficient and respectful communication within the team. We believe that the performance of medical teams can be improved by regular team trainings. This was the foundation for our interdisciplinary, multiprofessional Stroke Team training, which we can now offer all interested hospitals in situ in their own facilities. Motivated by the interdisciplinary team work, which is a cornerstone of Stroke Unit care, it is our goal to conceive continuous medical education formats that target physicians and allied health care professionals together and provide a palpable benefit for our patients and our work atmosphere.
